Classifying Accounts

Check out our video below to get an overview of how the Classify Accounts screen works!

This screen will show in two places:

  1. During the upload process, if CFO Scoreboard sees a set of accounts that are "new" to it, it will ask you to set their classifications. Don't worry if you don't know each of these 100%, because you can always change them later!
  2. In order to make changes or classification adjustments later, just click on your name in the top-right corner of CFO Scoreboard >> Settings >> Companies >> [Your Company] >> Actions menu: Classify Accounts. From this screen you can change classifications, and set Payroll and Owner's Expense categories. You can return here as often as is needed! Just remember to save your changes at the bottom of the screen.
